I am not particularly attached to Valentine’s day, due to its very commercial side and overwhelming publicity. “Gifting” love and receiving it unconditionally has become a part of my daily routine and I don’t really need a 14 of February to remind me of that. But since it had to be a day for that too, we do celebrate it as well. It usually happens at home or having dinner in a nice restaurant (sometimes we even travel for the occasion), but nothing too fancy. We are simply happy and grateful to spend every day together, therefor Valentines is more like a reminder of our many great years together.
I thought it would be nice to present you a look and make up for this romantic day. For me it was all about chic and flirty, that is why I picked velvet, silk with leather for my look and pink metallic lips for my make up. It was also the occasion to shoot a beauty editorial testing some new cool products from Urban Decay. Not to forget the exquisite headpiece that adds a bit of mysterious sexiness.
Urban Decay make-up:
The vegan primers are a really nice discovery…My makeup stays on longer, the final touch is smooth and my skin feels feathery and has a nice overall glow.
