This year, once again we went exploring our favorite purple fields. It was different than our last year experience as we discovered some new lavender places, even more captivating and breathtaking. The Plateau de Valensole is a must do for photography lovers, the lavender looks infinite, as if painted on a canvas.
The heat was unbearable, the sun was literally burning at our feet, sometimes I was under the impression that even my large straw hats were looking for some shade. But the feeling of serendipity I have each time we are shooting in the lavender is like no other. I cannot put into words, the perfume in the warm air gets me all hypnotized.
For my 1st look, the one shoulder taffeta dress was a match made in heaven due to their similar purple color. The bows complimented the scenery so well, as if they were inspired by those exact fields. The time have stopped there while taking our photos and it felt amazing. Although the temperatures were difficult to handle, it was the first time in months when I felt like finally taking a breath of fresh air.

One of the most incredible places we ever been to was this ancient monastery in Saint-Remy-de-Provence, which was home to brilliant Vincent Van Gogh for many years while he was a patient there. Where he also painted some of his most recognizable artwork. We had the pleasure to discover this magical cloister and surprise..at the back of the building we found that beautiful lavender. Everything was surreal.
Our lovely host, Vegatalement Provence kindly welcomed us and introduced us to this marvelous place. It was incredibly inspiring to me, to step into those gardens full of history, knowing that one of the greatest artists of all times was once inspired there too.
I created this outfit in tones of pale blue and lilac, it screams romanticism. I absolutely loved the modern touch given by the basket bag and the feathers hat.

I knew that I wanted to create a sailor look for this campaign as well, the marine inspired hat was begging for some cute polka dots. The touch of yellow and red lips felt as a necessity at the time. Knowing myself, I could have definitely use a bit more of those two.
The blue sky was my ocean that day…

Last year we were desperately looking for the sunflowers to shoot inside the lavender fields. We knew that the colors would look amazing together. Yellow with purple is one of my favorite color combos ever. This time we were luckier and the photos talk for themselves. A small paradise….
I have worn a beautiful embroidered off the shoulders white dress from Ivana Helsinki. I have accessorized it with some “sunny” wedge sandals and a gorgeous feathers basket bag that looked like one of those lovely sunflowers. My big cat eye sunnies in different shades of purple were matching with my mauve lipstick.

Little polka dots printed everywhere on my jumpsuit, for an ultimate Provence inspired look. For the accessories I went for a pom pom basket bag, a large belt on the waist and some delicate lace gloves.

For this year’s editorial I wanted to style a lot of white with accents of color. This is probably the best example. A simple white cotton shirt dress with a touch of flamboyant red. A timeless combination if you ask me… I love the preciousness of the accessories. It radically changed the whole look.
At approximately one hour from Valensole we went exploring some of the cutest perched villages with lavender fields at the bottom of their mountains. The views were so lovely and although the lavender was not as flourished as it would have been in two weeks top, we had a blast shooting there.
This dress is too pretty for words. Everything from its cut, pockets, embroideries…It fits so well with everything inspired by mind-blowing Provence, therefor everything I love about those lands. The large straw hat with velvet ribbon is a dream too, so chic. You can customize yours here.

On the road in the search of lavender we bumped into this little field. I still dream of those views over the mountains and hoping to go back and explore a little longer that part of Provence.
Last but not least this look is probably my favorite. The pom pom skirt is adorable and the vintage shirt has a very romantic countryside vibe. I love the crochet details.
